About PCBE

Connecting economists across Philadelphia since 1968.

Who We Are

The Philadelphia Council for Business Economics (PCBE) is the Philadelphia chapter of the National Association for Business Economics (NABE). We are a nonprofit organization that brings together economists and professionals from business, academia, government, and the community to share insights, discuss trends, and exchange views on economic issues.

Our Mission

PCBE provides a forum for economists and business professionals to:

01

Exchange views on current economic trends and policies

02

Share methods of analysis and best practices

03

Foster professional development among members

04

Offer students opportunities to learn from experts

05

Create a network that connects diverse economist communities

A Rich History of Economic Exchange

Founded as the Alpha Club and renamed in 1968, the Philadelphia Council for Business Economics has grown into a trusted forum for economic dialogue. Since its beginning, PCBE has hosted distinguished speakers, organized networking opportunities, and supported future generations of economists.
